January 19th

Wow what an amazing call we had tonight! Only good can come from so many caring people working together to make a difference and I am glad to be apart of it.
Today was a laid back day, being a holiday not to many businesses were open at least the mom and pop type I want to get to know. I did need to get some boxes for some items I sold on ebay so I headed out and met with some people in the bigger grocery stores that were open to get the boxes and of course I always have my cards on me and willing to give one to anyone who will take them:)
I have a full day tomorrow with new contacts, tons of follow ups to do and can not forget the one school that is rescheduling our meeting from last week! Going to love that call!
I have been thinking about the boot camp call from last week about what I have learned and one of the biggest things is that this is not just about me going out there and getting contacts that's like recruiting people it`s about building a relationship with caring and like minded people. It does not matter who it is, the banker, the bagger at the grocery store, or the elderly couple I held the door open for today. They could be the one but how will I know if I do not get to know them and BUILD a relationship with them to show them that I really do care,because I do. So when you head out tomorrow and you see that person who ever it maybe, talk with them. Tell them who you are and ask how are you doing. That's it! That's all it takes try it and you will be surprised at the results.
We are living in a world where things have taken over our lives. It`s time we make the people our lives again. Say hello to a stranger, tell some one they look nice today, or just plain say hello.
When ever I go and visit my family in TN I am so amazed and shocked how different it is there. The people are nice, very nice. Everyone says hello to one another and stop to catch up on their family`s well being. Driving down the road every one waves at you. Then I come back home and it is a totally different world. Well I would love to move to TN one day soon and that will happen but, until then I make it a point to talk with people the same as they do in TN. Yes I get the odd looks and the crazy stares but, I don`t care. I`m me and that's who I am. I believe it should be that way every where. Is it going to happen? Who knows but, by me believing in it, it makes me happy and when you are happy around others it rubs off. So go ahead make yourself happy and you will make some one else happy just by being you.
