On the Eleventh day of boot camp

LoL Ok today was great! I had it in my head that i was going to accomplish my goal for this week of walking into a place and announcing "Who wants to make 2000.00 in 60 days?" I even had the place planned out, I was so hyped about it and was ready and nothing was going to stop me! So there is this Goodwill store that my mother just loves. She has been in Vegas and just got back on the 3rd. So she wanted to go their and see what goodies they had. "I am not opposed to this at all as I also buy from there and resell on ebay:) pus I love shopping!!! HeHe Well what a perfect place to accomplish my goal at. There are tons of people, people who shop, business owners and the like. You know I always wondered why the shoppers at Goodwill all drive Mercedes and Hummers! Now I know!lol Well it was the perfect plan, the perfect way for me to finish this goal and it all came to a disappointing halt as soon as I walked in the door. It was loud! I mean super loud. I had to scream to talk to the person next to me! Grrr This was disappointing to say the least but I had a decision to make, take the fact that this was not happening today and make the most out of it or let it get to me. I made the most of it what I could and talked to whom ever would listen. Yes there were still those negative non open minded people but I pressed on and got what I needed to get done. Now I did not accomplish my goal but remember I have until tomorrow! So lets see how that will go and stop worrying about it. Worrying, what is that actually good for? Um nothing it wastes time over which there is nothing you can do about it so I say wait until you can do something about and worry about it then, when you can do something about it. I was on tonight's call and a camera was mention for my "announcement" I am going to do my best to get that done. I love that idea and it might even make it easier,I hope! lol Talk to you soon good night!

Hi Richard,
My name is Lisa, I live in Arizona and I've been following your blog, LOVE IT!! You're doing great as are all of you. Just wanted to let you know I'm also with NABCA and you've probably already figured this out but anyway... remember we were told all the Salvation Army Bell Ringers are Independent Fundraisers? I approached two of them yesterday offering them both My Powermall and HFOC, got their names and numbers and will follow up with them today. What better TYPE of people to approach especially MPM with?? They already have the huge heart and the right frame of mind!! I don't know if you have but you should also pass the tip about the bell ringers on to the other campers, the fact they they are independents and earn a portion of what they collect for the day (which I never knew). First of all they were receptive about the extra income and I don't have to elaborate as to how they reacted to earning a living AND helping others!! Anyway, just wanted to say great job, keep it up, I know you'll succeed!! Lisa
